I found this Splurge and Save while I was searching for “black metal lights”. This minimalist schoolhouse light is so versatile; I could see these lining a hallway, in an entryway, or above a stairway. It has a very traditional shape, which would complement a modern traditional or traditional home.

Schoolhouse’s Newbury semi-flush light comes in a variety of colours and details (gold, black, pinstripe shade, drum shade etc.) and is made of heavy brass.

Rejuvenation and Wayfair’s versions are made of metal or brass and also come in a range of colours.
