Ballard Designs is normally one of my “dupe brands,” but a reader reached out to me and asked me for a Ballard Designs Dayna Side Chair dupe; at $700 for two, the price wasn’t bad, but I knew I could do better.

These bamboo-inspired chairs are often categorized as Chippendale chairs, and are frequently styled in coastal, traditional, classic, or even eclectic homes. Yes, that’s a very wide variety of decor styles, but that’s because they are so versatile.

These chairs are frequently used as dining chairs, but I’ve also seen them used as accent chairs and home office chairs. See? Versatile.

I’ve found eight different dupes for the Dayna Side Chair; they come in different colours, materials, and finishes, but all my dupes are going to give you the same look for less.
