I get up very early (not by choice), so easy outfits are essential on weekdays.  On days I want to sleep in an extra few minutes, I turn to my “grab and go” outfits.  These are outfits that are so easy, they don’t require coordinating of any kind - like denim on denim.

If I’m pulling together an all-denim look, my personal rule is that as long as I have two different shades of denim, it’s an outfit.  I’m particularly fond of mixing dark and light denim, but honestly, at 5am, I don’t really care.

The best part about this look is that you probably already have jeans and you can get a denim or chambray shirt for about $30 (like this one here).  I’ve rounded up a few options below at different price points to get you started.
