HOW TO STYLE A BOYFRIEND SHIRT (AND STILL LOOK GOOD)

Boyfriend fit, oversized, casual, or loose — no matter how you describe it, I love a shirt that is meant to fit a little large. You've likely spotted this trend all over Pinterest and Instagram, but this casual look can be surprisingly difficult to pull off. I've sported it over and over, but just like my kimono conundrum, I often found myself feeling sloppy and frumpy by the end of the day. After some practice, I eventually figured out this one style trick that changed everything:

Pair an oversized shirt with a fitted coordinating piece of clothing.

That’s it! Try fitted jeans, a pencil skirt, denim shorts, or even a fitted dress. To add more structure, tuck in the top and roll up the sleeves like I did.

If you’re currently in the market for a new oversized shirt, this one is just $12!
